What is coaching?

The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as "partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.”

Coaching is a unique process designed to help improve a person, team or an organisation’s behaviour, perceptions, actions, decision-making and overall efficiency, which will bring them success and fulfilment, while empowering them with the focus, insight and accountability they need to achieve consistent results.All coaching is solution based and focuses on coaching the person, and not the problem.

What is Neuro Linguistic Programming?

There are many possible ways to answer the question. One answer is that  NLP is a practical way of understanding our thinking and our behaviour, that can be used to make rapid positive changes in our lives. Another answer is, it is the study of the inner workings of our minds and how to use that knowledge to enrich our choices that help us get in the best possible mental state to tackle our goals.

In essence NLP is a tool that delivers transformation change.

Because NLP is built around modelling excellence, the versatile skills of NLP can be used in virtually every aspect of life, including work, parenting and all our relationships.

How does NLP coaching work?

Knowing that the mind is the key to our success, in the initial session Sonali will use the tools of NLP to identify:

  • your desired outcome

  • your current roadblocks- your unhelpful patterns of limiting beliefs, biases, behaviours and habits

  • what resources you require to achieve your goals - skills, attitudes or attributes

Future sessions will be custom designed to move you towards your desired goals.

For best outcomes in NLP coaching/therapy, any topic generally requires between 4-8 sessions spaced weekly or fortnightly.

Do you offer face-to-face consultations (in person)?

The sessions are conducted online via a user-friendly platform like Zoom or over the phone, whichever is most comfortable for you. The session details are emailed to you in advance when you book the sessions.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please notify within 48 hours of session to avoid incurring cancellation charges. I understand that urgent unforeseen circumstances do arise, however please notify me in advance if you need to cancel.

​​Do you have a refund policy if I change my mind after purchasing a package, and my sessions have not yet begun?

I generally do not issue refunds. In order to avoid this, please book the initial free 25-min discovery call to understand what options suit you best and what my offerings are. After you’ve decided, a 60-90 min intake and onboarding session will be scheduled, where we can discuss which package is right for you.

Do you offer Medicare or private health fund rebates?

No, Coaching is not a recognised modality with private health funds and Medicare in Australia. Please check with the Medicare provider in your country.

Will I get appointment confirmations upon booking online? Will I get appointment reminders?

Upon booking your appointment, you will receive an email confirmation with your appointment details. Email reminders will also be sent 48 hours prior to your next appointment.

What type of payments do you accept and what are your payment terms?

Methods of payment will be outlined on the invoice - via direct bank transfer or debit/credit card or PayPal. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice.
